Endothelial nitric oxide synthase 894 G > T polymorphism and thrombotic disease: A Meta-Analysis of 17 studies involving 8808 subjects

•We collected data from 4742 cases and 4066 controls of 17 studies.•A meta-analysis of association between eNOS G894T and thrombotic disease was made.•eNOS G894T polymorphism increases the risk of venous thrombosis.•In Asian population eNOS G894T polymorphism is a risk factor of thrombotic disease.•eNOS G894T polymorphism has no association with carotid atherosclerosis.
