Production of monoclonal antibodies for detection of Citrus leprosis virus C in enzyme-linked immuno-assays and immunocapture reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction.

•MAbs were produced to the purified expressed coat protein of Citrus leprosis virus C.•MAbs C11, E10, F9 and G10 were selected to evaluate for the detection of CiLV-C.•MAbs G10 and C11 were recommended for detection of CiLV-C in DAS-ELISA.•MAb-G10 was recommended for detection of CiLV-C in DBIA and IC-RT-PCR.•IC-RT-PCR was more sensitive for detection of CiLV-C to DAS-ELISA and DBIA.
