Abstract
•α-Synuclein fibrils and/or oligomers were given intranasally for 14 days in mice.•Combined oligomers+fibrils caused rigidity and locomotor impairment.•Nigral DA and it's metabolite levels increased after oligomer+fibril treatment.•α-Synuclein fibrils enhanced DA levels in the substantia nigra.•DA turnover (DOPAC/DA but not HVA/DA ratio) was augmented after fibril treatment.
