Abstract
•An electrochemical aptasensor based on target-induced signaling probe shifting mode was developed for kanamycin detection.•TThe sensor shows a signal-on change and high sensitivity for the kanamycin with low detection limit of 3.3 pM.•The sensor shows a fast sensing speed for the kanamycin with only ∼9 min response time.•The sensor shows high specificity and its improvement through engineering the length of the assistant probe.
