Osteomalacia with severe thoracic and spondylous deformity complicated by osteoporosis.

A 60-year-old woman was admitted to our emergency department with respiratory distress. Her thorax had undergone gradual deformation over the past 3 years during which time she had refused to seek medical intervention.
