Abstract
In this paper a neural network-based adaptive control strategy for variable-speed variable pitch wind energy conversion systems is proposed. It is based on neural network-based adaptive controller, which drives the tracking error to zero with user specified dynamics. The form of the network weight adaptation law for the neural network adaptive controller is derived from a Lyapunov stability theory. The numerical simulation showing the feasibility of the proposed method.
