FIGURE 3. Heart rate measurements on D. melanogaster larval preparations. For the first 20 min, larvae were exposed to Schneider Drosophilamedium. This solution was then exchanged with 1 M peptide (CCAP ( ), M-CCAP-1 (‚), conoCAP-a ( ), conoCAP-b (E), or conoCAP-c (f)) or with the Schneider buffer as a control (F). Heart rates (HR) were measured every 5 min (p 0.005, n 8).
