Abstract
This paper introduce a new method to characterize the preparation results of calcium aluminoferrite solid solutions, Ca2(Fe1-xAlx)2O5 by means of combustion synthesis base on texture analysis. To define a image characteristics can be used many features. Using all of them we don't obtain good performance in the field of description. There are also some speed problems because are many features used in the description process. Here, we present an algorithm which uses only few features for speed increasing of analysis in a specific case of calcium aluminoferrite solid solutions.
