Abstract
With environmental constraints growing brought by the sustained and rapid development of China's macro-economic, China's power industry is faced with the issue of energy saving after its substantial and synchronous growth of speed type and structure. This article sets up a multiple linear regression model using excel software, carries on a regression test about factors affecting the energy intensity, obtains a strong correlation between the reasonable lower of energy intensity and the improvement of the country's overall energy efficiency, and then provides a scientific criterion for reducing energy intensity through adopting appropriate measures and achieving targets of energy saving.
