Toward automatic classification of partial discharge sources with neural networks

摘要
1 Abstract -- In this letter, we propose an automatic classification scheme of discharge sourc es on the basis of Fourier spectrum for received electromagnetic pulses. Confirming the re producibility of electromagnetic pulses from each source validate s this scheme . The recognition rate for six discharge sources is 80% or better. The feature of our sy stem is time efficient and to treat hundreds of pulses.
