Abstract
In recent years, with the continuous expansion of the grid-scale, the system components are becoming more and more complex. Considering that the consequence of instability after power system subjected to large disturbance is very serious, even leads to catastrophic accidents. This paper uses multi-machine power system transient energy function based on the structure preserving models to get potential energy of each branch. Then combine with the directed electric betweenness of complex network, which fully considering the impact of generator output changes to branch power flow. Calculate branch state vulnerability and the importance degree of branch in the system. Finally build a comprehensive vulnerability index to assess the branch transient vulnerability, which considers both the state factor and the structure factor. Simulation results on the 6 machine system by calculating and sorting the vulnerability index of branch prove that the effectiveness and rationality of the proposed method.
