摘要
In order for an organization to meet its strategic objectives a change, in a combination of people, process or infrastructure, is often required. To enact this change an organizational design may be developed. There are currently many approaches to do this, however none take notice of intra-organizational issues. The organizational design approach introduced in this paper is a process that has been developed to drive the transition of an organization from its current to its future state, using systems principles. The process links the principles of established organizational design theory with problem structuring methods in order to support the delivery of organizational change within an engineering context.
