Determination of enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin in foods of animal origin by capillary electrophoresis with field amplified sample stacking-sweeping technique.

•A novel and economic preconcentration method for trace enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin determination was developed.•γ-CD was introduced to the sample matrix to enhance the sweeping efficiency.•The LODs were lower than the MRLs of the tested compounds in animal origin foods.•The proposed method was easy to carry out by UV detector, and suited for assaying complex samples.
