摘要
Vitamin A and zinc are essential nutrients. In order to study the effect of antioxidant capacity on on rat heart and serum by excessive intake of them and provide the experimental reference for the formulation of nutritional supplements about Vitamin A and zinc, 64 rats were randomly divided into four groups, namely, VA group, zinc group, combining VA and Zn group and control group. The antioxidant indicators of T-AOC, SOD, MDA and GSH-Px on rat heart and serum were determined after exposure 4 weeks, at the same time the blood components, including hemoglobin, platelet levels, cholesterol, triglycerides were also determined. The experimental data was analyzed with SPSS 15. 0 statistical software. The results that there was obviously significantly difference on T-AOC, SOD, MDA and GSH-Px of heart and serum between all exposure groups and the control group. The blood components such as hemoglobin, red blood cell, platelet levels, cholesterol, triglycerides of rats between the various groups. Excessive intake of Vitamin A and Zinc can reduce antioxidant capacity of heart and serum in rats. © 2011 IEEE.
