Abstract
In this paper, the migrating range of petroleum style contaminants in aeration zone of soil is forcasted using the blackbox model about contaminant migrating, and which in aquifer also is forcasted using the analytic solution of contaminant convection-dispertion equation. If the leaking quantity of hole blow is 15m3/h,there would be 9.9t petroleum style contaminants seeping in aeration zone of soil; while there would be 9.5t petroleum style contaminants if the leaking quantity of pipeline is 250 m3/d. One year after hole blow, the peak concentration of petroleum style contaminants would diffuse in the range of 30m, which value would be 133.69mg/l; and 10 years later, the peak concentration would diffuse in the range of 60m, which value was 109.26mg/l.But for the pipeline leaking, these value would be 8m, 4369.37mg/l, 50m and 426.58mg/l in turn. So we can get conclusion that the polluting tendency to groundwater from pipeline leaking is same as which from hole blow, but the pollution from pipeline leaking is more serious. © 2011 IEEE.
