Implementation and research of visualization software on ocean voyage preview

The visual preview system of the ocean voyage information was designed, based on the setting port, the speed of the route, stations operating time to realize voyage preview. It dynamically calculates the track point coordinates on routes and the tracks time by tracking analyst unit of ArcEngine analysis software. Through the GIS- spatial analysis operations, each voyage segments direction to the destination port was calculated, which keeps the connectivity and integrity of the entire route. The preview ship sets speed dynamically according to the setted voyage point, real-time displaies the state information of sailing on the map, including sailing date, sailing speed, ship state with the route changing. In the preview process, when the ship sails to the seamount area, the system will automatically pop up the relevant information of the seamount, and provide reliable decision support for the ocean investigators.
