The instability analysis of bedding rock slope based on moment of force

The model of moment of force was introduced to the bedding rock slop stability, and the instability process was analyzed. When the force moment exists, the shear stress and the support stress are not the even distribution. There is a process alignment procedure in cuts. The stress concentrate in some part cause the existence of shearing moment. Along with increasing of force moment, the supports stress and the shear stress all increase. The non-uniform distribution appears. The stress is concentrated partially, and the rock slope appears partial failure. When the shear force is bigger than the shear strength, the macroscopic instability appears. It is also divided the different modes of slope instability based on stress concentrated zone.
