Study on correlation analysis of sulfate in yuecheng reservoir

Sulfate change condition of Yuecheng Reservoir was analyzed on the basis of water quality monitoring data from 2006 to 2011 in five years in Handan City Hebei province, and meantime sulfate correlation was studied based on the regression analysis and F test. The results show this kind of assessment method is reliable and feasible, and can be seen that sulfate concentration is rising year by year from the past five years. The sulphate concentration changes with the season in most reservoirs in north China, particularly in winter, whose concentration of sulfate is the several times than that in summer. There is a strong link between the annual sulfate change and the sulfuric acid sanitization rate and runoff, and because of the rise of sulfate concentration can produce certain effect on human and surrounding environment, we must pay close attention to the change of sulfate concention and correlation analysis of sulfate change.
