摘要
Objective: To explore the expression and significance of human hyperplasic suppress gene (HSG) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in gastric carcinoma. Methods: The changes of HSG and VEGF expressions in normal gastric mucosa, para-carcinoma tissues and gastric carcinoma tissues were detected by immunohistochemical method. Results: The positive expression rate of HSG in normal mucosa, para-carcinoma tissues and gastric carcinoma tissues was 66.7%, 58.0% and 38.3%, respectively, which showed a trend of significant decrease (P<0.05). The positive expression rate of VEGF in the three groups was 13.3%, 20.0% and 68.3% , respectively, showing a trend of significant increase (P<0.05); Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that the expression of HSG protein was negatively correlated with that of VEGF protein (r=-0.847, P<0.05). Conclusion: Over-expressions of HSG and VEGF are one of the important factors in the genesis, development and metastasis of gastric carcinoma.
