Abstract
Notice of Retraction After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE's Publication Principles. We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper. The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org. Depth triangulation is a common model to express seafloor topography. To solve limitations of the current constructing algorithms, the paper presented an optimum algorithm based on coastline constraint. The algorithm distilled coastline data of one chart, computed drying height of the coastline, and regarded it as the triangulation boundary constraint. The experiment showed that the algorithm can avoid unreasonable instances that triangulation traverses land or islands and create body-fitted depth triangulation. It is favor of the expression of seafloor topography, especially fit for the construction of depth triangulation in the inshore region or coastal zone.
