Abstract
Objective: To observe the value and clinical significance of coronary angiography with 64-slice spiral CT in diagnosing myocardial bridge and mural coronary artery. Methods: Imaging data of 6123 consecutive subjects including heart disease patients and healthy subjects were analyzed retrospectively. These subjects underwent 64-slice spiral CT coronary angiography from March 2006 to May 2008. Results: A total of 1030 myocardial bridge in 979 (15.99%) subjects were identified, and 617 of them were in the site of left anterior descending branch (617/1030, 59.91%). Conclusion: 64-slice Spiral CT coronary angiography is an accurate and non-invasive technique in the diagnosis of myocardial bridge and mural coronary artery.
