Abstract
In this paper, a proper scheme of flow and heat-transfer model and the calculation method of the surface heat-transfer coefficient in the coolers of TV panals mould are given. The Renold-averaged approach and realizable k-epsilon model are used to predict the flow and heat transfer of the coolant water in the coolers of TV panals mould, and the wall function method is employed to treat the Wall-Bounded Turbulent Flows. Based on these, the distribution of the solution variables such as the velocity and heat-transfer coefficient of cooling water can be computed, which provide the necessary boundary conditions for calculating the temperature field of the TV panals mould.
