摘要
Objective: To investigate the antibiotic resistance of S. pneumoniae isolates in Nanjing. Methods: Totally 130 strains of S. pneumoniae were collected to test the MICs of various antibiotics by agar dilution method according to the approved standard of CLIS. Results: Of the 130 strains of S. pneumoniae, 67 (51.5%) were resistant to penicillin (MIC≥2mg/L), 6.2%, 69.2%, 17.7% and 3.1% of these isolates were resistant to amoxicillin, cefuroxime, cefotaxime, and ceftriaxone respectively. The resistance rates to erythromycin, azithromycin, chloramphenicol and tetracycline were 92.3%, 90.8%, 89.2% and 93.8% respectively. All the 130 strains of S. pneumoniae were sensitive to vancomycin, levofloxacin, moxifloxacin, tigecycline and linezolid. Conclusions: The S. pneumoniae isolates are highly resistant to penicillin, erythromycin, azithromycin, clindamycin, tetracycline and cefuroxime in Nanjing, which should be known when selecting an antibiotic for S. pneumoniae infection.
