Durability evaluation of existing reinforced concrete bridges based on AHP

Based on AHP,this paper set up the durability index evaluation model,raised steel erosion,concrete carbonation,chlorine ion erosion,the maximum crack width of concrete,quality and damage of concrete as evaluation indices to evaluate the durability of existing reinforced concrete bridge.Based on the judgment matrix,the different index weights can be determined according to damage degree by fixing the durability index weights.The durability evaluation of the existing reinforced concrete bridges' superstructure was processed by applying the variable weight principle of comprehensive evaluation.The analysis of a practical example shows that the evaluation method is feasible by comparing the evaluation result with actual condition.2 tabs,1 fig,10 refs.
