Reactive Power Regulation of Grid-connected Wind Farm Based on Application Integration Part II Information Exchange

In the power system application integration environment, reactive power control is used as an example of wind farms coordination control. The paper introduces the architecture of integrating wind farm supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA) system with the energy management system (EMS), and the method of information exchange between the application systems. Furthermore, the data model and data exchange interface in the reactive power adjustment is designed. Simulation results shows the correctness of the data model and data exchange interface.
