Experimental investigation on the dynamic compressive behavior of rubberized concrete

Dynamic compressive behavior of the 70mm diameter rubberized concrete (RC) cylinder specimens was studied by using a split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB). The stress-strain curves under different strain rates and toughness index were obtained, and dynamic compressive strength were compared with static compressive strength-From the test results, dynamic compressive behavior of rubberized concrete containing different sizes, volumetric contents and grading was discussed. At last, the paper summaries the strain rate effect of rubberized concrete, and the factors that affect the dynamic compressive behavior of rubberized concrete.
