Kinetic model of acid dissolving reaction of phosphate rock by microwave induced enhancement

Experiments of sulfuric acid dissolving phosphate rock were carried out by microwave induced enhancement and heating, and kinetics models of reactions under different conditions were built. The difference of the two kinetic models was ananlyzed. The results showed that the activation energy was 20.82 kJ/mol by microwave and was 13.56 kJ/mol by heating. The microwave could increase the activation energy and pre-exponential factor. The reaction rate of sulfuric acid dissolving phosphate rock by microwave was quicker than that by heating above 40°C. When temperature was below 70°C, microwave could increase mass transfer and diffusion capacities.
