Study on white punctate segregation in high intensity ZL205A alloy large-scale casting

White punctate segregation had been discovered in high intensity ZL205A alloy large-scale casting by X-ray tested, and which can't be abated or eliminated by foundry technique modulated and heat treatment. The author took the study on white punctuate segregation: tested the mechanical properties, analyzed the microstructure and chemical components, and discussed the formative mechanism and solution.
