Design of a clustering algorithm by applying simulated annealing in VANET

This paper proposed Stability Weighted Clustering Algorithm (SWCA), in which Stability Neighbor Sets (SNS) is considered as a new node weighted factor and an index of clustering re-affiliation. By applying Simulated Annealing, an optimized clustering set is obtained. This solution ensures load balancing performance, enhancing the clustering stability of network topology in VANET. Simulation results demonstrate that SWCA is better than the traditional algorithm as far as the load balancing performance and stability of network topology are concerned.
