Abstract
Because the base strip of stainless steel/carbon steel cladding strip severely oxidized during hot-rolling, author based on the skin effect and the proximity effect in the course of high-frequency current, produced a kind of new production techniques of bonding strips and studied the preparation techniques of stainless steel/carbon steel cladding strip. The results showed that this device can effectively avoid the oxidation of incoming base metal during on-line heating and protect the zone of heating using gas of Ar. The heat penetration of base strip is shallow, heat efficiency is high, and we can get different heating effect by regulating the strength of high-frequency current etc. We can get suitably technological conditions by simulating temperature field, stainless steel/carbon steel can have good combination property at 30% reduction percent, critical deformation rate is obviously lower than that of routine hot-rolling cladding, and the rolled cladding strips have excellent tensile properties. The technique of high-frequency current on-line heating can realize the rolling cladding of stainless steel/carbon steel with high resistance of deformation under the condition of low pressure and little deformation.
