Study On Perceptual Evaluation Of Mobile Phones Form

To design a good product, it's essential that the product not only satisfies the function needs, but also grasps the consumer's psychological estimation. For some functional products such as car and mobile phone, the form is the key element to decide consumer's actions. Based on the kansei engineering principle, exemplifying a case of mobile phone, this paper describes the mobile phone form element categorizing as static element and dynamic element. A perceptual evaluation model for mobile phone was built through the data analysis using theory I of quantification which is of common use in psychology. Eventually, the mobile phones sales data in Shaanxi are used to test the evaluation model.
