Abstract
Based on thermodynamic research, the rephosphorization of CaO-based refining slag dephosphorization products would be found seriously when reducing slag was made in LF. The dephosphorization ability of BaO-based refining slag was better than that of CaO-based refining slag, and BaO-based refining slag could also prevent rephosphorization. The industrial experiment was done at 1500°C-1650°C, and the influence on the raw molten steel secondary dephosphorization-rephosphorization prevention by adding different agents were researched. The industrial experiment results indicated that the rephosphorization content of molten steel, which used BaO-based refining slag, was decreased 70%. The desulfurization ability of BaO-based refining slag was the same as that of CaO-based refining slag. On the basis of the experimental results, the process was optimized.
