NO Emission Numerical Simulation of Reburning Technology of Superfine Pulverized Coal

Abstract
In this paper, cases of lignite regular combustion and reburning of superfine pulverized coal in a CRF boiler have been numerically studied. It adopts the fast-reaction model, employs the SIMPLEC method to simulate the reacting and flowing processes. The temperature and NO x concentration predicted are compared with the experimental data and analyzed. Results indicate that reburning of superfine pulverized coal decreases NO x emission in a large extent. At the same time, NO x production and reburning in the boiler with superfine pulverized coal are given. The optimum case is obtained after some cases of reburning of superfine pulverized coal with different reburning nozzle and burnout nozzle have been simulated.
