Determination Of Nimodipine By Flow Injection Chemiluminescence Method

Method for the determination of nimodipine, based on the inhibition of the chemilumineseence (CL) reaction between cerium(IV) and sulphite, has been developed. The CL intensity is proportional to the concentration of nimodipine in the range of 0.5similar to10 mg/L (r=0.9990) and 10similar to90 mg/L (r=0.9968). The recovery is 98.3%similar to103.2%. The detection limit is 0.085 mg/L and relative standard deviation is 1.8%.
