Calculation of ultimate extraction resistence of anchoring plates in calcaress sands

The configuration of extraction resistence failure surfaces of anchoring plates in calcareous sands is studied the model simulation tests of full sizes in lab and the failure mode is classified into three types of shallow form, transition form and deep form. The calculation formulae of the ultimate extraction resistence for these three types are obtained using the limit equilibrium theory.
