Synthesis and crystal structure of (4S,5R,6R,7S)-5,6-O-isopropylidene-7-C- phenyl-L-aldol-hepta-2-ene-g -lactone

The intermediate of (+)-7-epi-Goniofufurone, an anticancer crude-product, (4S,5R,6R,7S)-5,6-O-Isopropylidene-7-C-phenyl-L-aldol-hepta-2-ene-g -lactone was synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by Rigaku AFC 7R. The crystal structure belongs to monoclinic system with space group P2 1 (#4), a=0.5612(2)nm, b=1.8667(5)nm, c=1.4424(2)nm, b =97.10(2)°, V=1.4994(7)nm 3, D calc=1.286g/cm 3, Z=4, F(000)=616.00, m (MoKa)=0.95cm -1. The final R is 0.052 for 1434 I>2.00s (I). The X-ray analysis shows that its structural characteristic meets the synthetic demand of the next step.
