Preparation of 10W/40 lube oil for four stroke engine motorcycle

A 10W/30 lube oil for four stroke engine motorcycle was formulated by poly-olefin contained base oil by adding an additive package and a viscosity index improver. The laboratory simulated evaluation and rig test showed that the prepared lube oil exhibited good anti-oxidation, cleaning dispersity and antiwear performance, which reached the standard of rig test.
