Fungal flora of tropical Guangxi, China: The lichen family Cladoniaceae

Thirty-nine taxa of the family Cladoniaceae (lichen-forming fungi) belonging to the genera Cladia, Cladonia and Thysanothecium are reported from the tropical region of Guangxi, China. Cladonia diversa, C. libefera, C. magyarica, C. melanocaulis, C. subsquamosa are reported as new to China. 28 taxa are new to Guangxi. The aromatic compounds of each taxon were identified with thin-layer chromatography. The paper includes geographical elements and distribution in China of each species.
