Hot test study on the stave of No.3 blast furnace at Baoshan Iron and Steel Co

Simulating the operation conditions of the stave of No.3 blast furnace at Baoshan Iron and Steel Co, the first experimental furnace for hot test of large stave in China was established. The influences of the temperature and velocity of inlet water, the gas temperature of blast furnace and the heat impact on the temperature distribution of the stave were studied. The main cause of stave damage was discussed.
