Effect of laser diode beam upon diffraction metrology

Laser diode emits an elliptical divergent Gaussian beam with dependence on temperature. Taking the filament diffraction metrology system as an example, the influence of the characteristics of laser diode on the measuring accuracy was discussed. The method to eliminate the influence was proposed.
