Abstract
Bioceramic coating was made by the laser remelting pretreatment by a layer of mixed powder CaHPO4��2H2O-CaCo3-Y2O3 on TC substrate. The effects of laser remelting pretreatment on microstructure and properties were studied by SEM, ESD, XRD. The results show that laser-remelting pretreatment is favorable to the improvement of mechanical properties and biocompatibility of bioceramical coating.
