Study of rare-earth ions spectrum probe Measurement of cooperative vibronic bands of rare-earth ions and ligands
Guangxue Xuebao/Acta Optica Sinica(1996)
Abstract
With a ns pulsed dye laser, cooperative vibronic bands of Tb 3+ and OH, OD had been measured in excitation spectra of solutions of TbCl 36H 2O in D 2O and H 2O respectively. In experiment, a tunable dye laser pumped by a pulsed excimer laser (pulse width is 16ns and the wave length is 308nm), Lambda Physik was used. Time resolved technique and the method of subtracting background were adopted in order to decrease the effects of Raman scattering and fluorescence of impurities.
