Highly conductive graphite nanoparticle based enzyme biosensor for electrochemical glucose detection

摘要
•Graphite nanoparticle composed of the multi-stacked graphene demonstrated its high potential for biosensors due to high conductivity.•Glucose oxidase enzymes were immobilized on the graphite nanoparticle surface for sensing glucose via direct electron transfer.•The graphite nanoparticle based enzyme biosensor can successfully detect glucose with a limit-of-detection of 50μM.•Our proposed novel sensor is equivalent or superior to other carbon based biosensors in terms of cost, speed, and sensitivity.
