A study on comprehensive evaluation of iron ores sintering properties and practice

To master iron ores sintering properties and its complemental properties for sinter quality optimization has. attain more attention because of the increasing variety of iron ores and stricter requirement for reasonable proportioning. A comprehensive evaluation of iron ores sintering properties has been provided by micro-sintering machine and sinter pot test, and the principle to get reasonable iron ores proportion has been given. Via the optimal method, the relationship between sintering economic & quantity index and iron ores proportion has been studied and optimized, and having been applied to sinter processing. It was shown that: the average utilization coefficient and solid fuel rate was improved by 0.070t/ (m(3).h) and 0.9kg/t separately, sinter product less than 5mm can be decreased by 0.37 percent.
