Investigation of [mmim]DMP/CH3OH absorption refrigeration thermodynamic performances

In order to predict the vapor pressure and the excess enthalpy of [mmim]DMP/CH3OH in the whole range of [mmim]DMP mole fraction, the UNIFAC model and the Wilson model are correlated. Based on the above models, thermodynamic performances of [mmim]DMP/methanol absorption refrigeration are investigated and analyzed. From the results, some conclusions are obtained as follows. The circulation ratio of the [mmim]DMP/methanol absorption refrigeration is higher than that of the LiBr/H2O and NH3/H2O absorption refrigeration. The COP of the [mmim]DMP/methanol absorption refrigeration is lower than that of the LiBr/H2O absorption refrigeration, but generally higher than that of NH3/H2O absorption refrigeration.
