Research on low temperature latex brine cement slurry system

For the problems of slow development of strength and poor cement paste toughness in shallow salt cavern gas storage wells, a kind of low temperature latex brine cement slurry system is developed in this paper. The experimental results show that this system has performances of good stability, low water loss, adjustable thickening time and excellent mechanical properties. Furthermore, the elastic deformation capability is improved by latex, and it also can improve the first and second interface cementing qualities of shallow salt cavern gas storage wells cementing. It is applied in well Anzi2 successfully.
