Abstract
The stress and deformation of a foundation pit after its excavation is affected by many factors, and difference always exists between the designed and actual deformation and stress. In the monitoring process, the displacement and deformation of supporting structure is concerned with the stability and safety of supporting piles. Besides, the final deformation and stress monitoring value can provide field measurement data for optimizing the design and studying the stress and deformation characteristics of the structure. With regard to complex and important projects, it is significant to monitor the stress and deformation of supporting structure of foundation pit during construction. Directed against the actual monitoring of the engineering, the paper introduces the scheme and content of foundation pit monitoring and also analyzes the monitoring results so as to study the stress and deformation characteristics of pile-anchor supporting structure in actual supporting process, which can provide a reference for comparative numerical analysis in the future. © 2013, EJGE.
