Comparative Study On The Two Kinds Of Litopenaeus Vannamei Culture Modes

Bottom aeration mulch pond culture mode is a new one practiced in Litopenaeus vannamei culture. It can improve yield and prevent the shrimp disease effectively comparing the earthen pond mode. In this study, the dissolved oxygen is evenly distributed in the whole mulch pond water, the mean value of NO3-, NO2-, NH4+, PO43- and water temperature in mulch ponds is higher than that in earthen ponds, but SiO44- and S2- is lower. A total of 62 phytoplankton taxa were identified, and the phytoplankton community structure is more complicated in mulch ponds. Principal Response Curves (PRC) show significant difference in two culture modes, and present four key species of Chlorophyta in mulch ponds. The species with high weight of PRC in chlorophyta and the more stable phytoplankton community structure might play an important role in Litopenaeus vannamei disease resistant in the process of the mulch pond culture.
