摘要
The membrane interface probe (MIP) combined with portable gas chromatograph was used at a gas station site to delineate subsurface contamination. Furthermore, traditional sampling and analyzing methods have been used to establish correlations between MIP data and the concentration of volatile organic compound in soil. The results showed that there was correlation between electrical signal obtained from MIP-FID and the contents of volatile organic compound in soil obtained from traditional technologies (Y=8390.4X, R2=0.7413, n=35). Three-dimensional images showing TVOC distribution was obtained by the three-dimensional visualization software package (EVS-Pro) based on 13 MIP drilling datum and two hot VOCs source zones were found in this site. The measurements carried out using the MIP with portable gas chromatograph confirm that analysis is indeed very useful to characterize VOC source zones.
