摘要

•The exogenous TPA gene was efficiently integrated into the AAVS1 locus of MSCs.•TPA could effectively express at the safe harbour of MSCs.•Gene addition at the AAVS1 locus do not alter the characteristics of MSCs.•Nonviral gene targeting may be a optimal method to target MSCs.
